Posing Tips

Feel Comfortable First

Stand tall but stay relaxed — shifting your weight slightly to one foot can help your posture look more natural.

It doesn’t necessarily matter which foot — it depends on your best angle. Try putting one foot slightly forward to elongate your legs and soften your stance so you don’t look too stiff or rigid in photos.

Find Your Best Angle

Slight tilt of the chin down and turn slightly to the side — this usually flatters your jawline

Look at your old photos or in the mirror to find the angles you love most

Avoid facing the camera completely straight-on — a slight body angle adds dimension

Pose Like You’re Moving

Shift slightly between shots — walk slowly, turn your head, adjust your sleeves or jacket

These tiny movements keep things looking natural and not stiff or overly posed

Natural and Relaxed Posing Tips

Keep your hands relaxed, breathe naturally, and engage your eyes by thinking of something that makes you smile. Look at or just above the camera for a lively, genuine expression.

Bring the Good Vibes

Play music during your shoot to ease nerves and bring natural energy

Invite a friend to hype you up or make you laugh — it really makes a difference!

Positioning Tips

Don’t press your arms against your sides — leave a little space to avoid flattening .

For seated poses, sit tall, angle your knees slightly, and keep your hands relaxed .
